Globugg Content, Safety and Copyright Policy
Operator: Bavity LLC · Effective: 17 October 2026
Safety and illegal content: [email protected] · Intimate images: removal request form · Copyright: [email protected] · Appeals: [email protected]
1. Reporting harmful or illegal content
Use Report on a Bugg, comment or account in the app, or email [email protected]. Include a link or the username, roughly when you saw it, what's wrong, the country if relevant, and how to reach you. Don't send us child sexual abuse material, even as evidence. If someone is in immediate danger, call local emergency services. We may ask for more information, keep reporters' identities confidential where we can, and share information with the authorities where the law requires. Misusing reports, or retaliating against people who report, isn't allowed.
2. Intimate images shared without consent (TAKE IT DOWN Act)
If an intimate image or video of you was posted on Globugg without your consent, including AI-generated or digitally altered images, you or someone authorized to act for you can ask us to remove it using our removal request form. You don't need a Globugg account. The form asks for what the law requires: your name and contact details, where the content is (links or usernames), a short description, a statement that it was shared without consent, and your signature (your typed name). Don't upload the images themselves.
We remove qualifying content, and identical copies we find, within 48 hours of receiving a valid request, confirm receipt with a reference number, keep only the records we need, and don't ask you for unnecessary copies. Knowingly false requests may have legal consequences. Requests not covered by the Act are still reviewed under our Community Guidelines and the law. More about the Act: ftc.gov.
3. Child safety
Child sexual abuse material, sexual solicitation or grooming of minors, and threats of exploitation are prohibited and escalated immediately. We remove the content, preserve evidence as the law requires, and report apparent child sexual exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and other authorities where required. Never forward such material to anyone, including us.
4. Copyright notices (DMCA)
A copyright owner or their authorized agent can send a notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) to our designated agent, Bavity LLC, 5301 Alpha Road, Suite 80-709, Dallas, TX 75240, [email protected], at [email protected]. The notice must include:
- a physical or electronic signature;
- the copyrighted work (or a representative list, if several);
- the material you say is infringing and enough information to find it (a link or username and Bugg);
- your contact details (address, phone, email);
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorized by the owner, its agent or the law; and
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and you're authorized to act for the owner.
We remove or disable access to the material and tell the person who posted it.
5. Counter-notices
If your content was removed after a copyright notice and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3) to [email protected], including: your signature; what was removed and where it was; a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification; and your name, address, phone number and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address (or, outside the U.S., any judicial district where Bavity can be found) and to accept service from the person who sent the notice. We'll forward it to them. If they don't tell us within 10 business days that they've filed a court action, we restore the content within 10 to 14 business days of receiving your counter-notice (unless it breaks other rules). Knowingly false counter-notices may create legal liability.
6. Repeat infringers and records
We close the accounts of repeat infringers where appropriate, and keep records of notices, counter-notices, actions and appeals for as long as needed to meet our legal obligations. A claim alone isn't proof; we look at fairness and possible abuse of the process.
7. EU Digital Services Act and other regions
Where the EU Digital Services Act applies, anyone can report content they believe is illegal through Report in the app or by email; we decide promptly, give statements of reasons to people whose content we restrict, offer internal complaints (appeals) and information about out-of-court dispute settlement, and publish any required contact points and transparency information. In the UK and other countries we follow the online safety, child protection, illegal content and record-keeping rules that apply to a service like Globugg.
8. Decisions and appeals
We weigh the evidence, credible harm, the law, public interest, severity and past violations. Actions can include a warning, a label, limiting where content appears, removal, suspension or closing the account. To appeal, email [email protected] within 6 months of the decision with your username and why you think it was wrong; a person reviews every appeal. An appeal doesn't affect your counter-notice rights or any regulator's powers.
9. Legal requests and law enforcement
Send legal process to Bavity LLC, 5301 Alpha Road, Suite 80-709, Dallas, TX 75240, United States, or [email protected]. We check every request for validity and jurisdiction, push back on overbroad requests, tell affected users unless we're legally prohibited or it would be unsafe, and disclose only what the law requires. We preserve records in response to valid requests. Emergency requests must explain the emergency and come from an authenticated source.
